The Spectrum Foundation is about passionate people and partnerships.
The Spectrum Foundation was implemented in January 2009 to satisfy the growing demand of Spectrum employees to support and participate in charitable efforts at a corporate level.
- → Governed by employees serving as the Board of Directors, who oversees all Foundation affairs, to include: philanthropy policy, fund development and community outreach.
- → To date the Foundation has committed well over $100,000 to support charitable activities and organizations throughout our Spectrum communities.
- → The Foundation is a donor-advised fund under the Peninsula Community Foundation of Virginia which maintains the Spectrum Foundation fund and facilitates charitable receipts and giving’s across all Spectrum communities.
- → We welcome participation in all Foundation activities from personal contributions to assuming a leadership role in the organization

The Spectrum Foundation is headquartered in Newport News, Virginia. Closely tied to its corporate benefactor, the Foundation shares its location with Spectrum. Located on the third floor of the building, the Foundation's home allows its members to look out over the community we serve as a constant reminder of the reasons for our service.
