It is that time again, so tie up your shoe laces! We are asking for your support in the fight against cancer by participating in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. If you are not familiar, Relay for Life participants walk around a track or path at a local high school, park, or fairground enjoying music and games to celebrate life for cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against cancer.
To encourage participation across our footprint, the Spectrum Foundation is setting a goal of 40 walkers nation-wide in this year’s events by offering up to $75.00 of matching donation funds for EACH registered walker (participants need to be Spectrum employees). All matching funds will be distributed at the completion of an event.
- For those employees in the Hampton Roads area, we already have a team setup to walk in Newport News, VA on May 7th at Todd’s Stadium. Our page is located here.
